EOP Admissions Information

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed to provide access and services to financially disadvantaged students who demonstrate academic potential and desire to earn a college degree.

Admissions Process

Apply using the SUNY Application or Common Application and check "yes" when asked about applying for the EOP program. In addition to the standard freshman application materials, you’ll need to submit the EOP Financial Information Form and complete your 2025-2026 FAFSA application.

EOP Income Eligibility

The table below lists financial eligibility requirements for EOP admission for students entering the 2025-26 academic year. Any subsequent changes to these guidelines will be posted here. In order to be determined economically disadvantaged, a student's household income must not exceed the amount shown for its size or the student's circumstances must conform to one of the exceptions indicated.  Additional Information can be found on the suny.edu website
